Opening December 1, 2026, Lumin Art Museum Pattaya is bringing a rather different indoor attraction to the Jomtien area.
A new attraction is coming to Pattaya, although it’s perhaps not quite what you might imagine from its name.
Lumin Art Museum is scheduled to open on December 1, 2026, offering a combination of immersive digital art, interactive experiences, a snow-themed attraction, a 5D experience and several Korean-inspired food, retail and activity spaces.
Located in Jomtien, near Underwater World Pattaya, it’s a sizeable new addition to the city’s entertainment options, particularly for visitors looking for something to do away from the beach and the usual nightlife areas.
Despite the museum name, visitors shouldn’t expect a conventional art gallery filled with paintings and sculptures. The emphasis here is much more on visual experiences, digital installations, photo opportunities and interactive entertainment.
Here’s what we know so far.
Eight different experiences
Lumin’s website divides the attraction into eight numbered halls, although only four are included in the main admission tickets. The remaining spaces offer additional food, retail and activities.
The four principal attractions are:
1. Web AR Exhibition
This experience combines themed photographic settings with augmented reality (AR) features. Visitors can explore colourful backdrops and use their phones to interact with the digital elements.
It appears to be particularly geared towards photo opportunities, making it potentially appealing to visitors who enjoy creating content for social media.
2. Immersive Media Art
This is likely to be one of the main attractions for visitors interested in digital art.
The experience uses large-scale projections and visual effects to create themed environments that visitors can walk through. Promotional material has highlighted settings including Aqua World, Lotus Falls, Flower River and Lantern Forest.
Rather than viewing artwork on a wall, the idea is to step into an environment where images, light and sound surround you.
3. Snow Experience
An indoor snow-themed attraction might seem a little unusual in tropical Pattaya, but these experiences have found an audience in Thailand.
Visitors can enjoy a winter-style environment and the novelty of experiencing snow without travelling to a colder country.
It’s worth noting that snow-themed attractions aren’t entirely new to Pattaya. Frost and Winter Wonderland have also offered visitors a taste of winter in the tropics, so Lumin will be joining an existing niche in the local entertainment market.
4. 5D Attraction
The fourth main experience is a 5D attraction, advertised as combining on-screen action with physical effects including movement and wind.
It’s designed to make visitors feel more involved in the experience than they would be watching a conventional film.
More than the four main attractions
Beyond the four ticketed experiences, Lumin has several additional facilities and activities:
- Lumin Friends & Goods: A merchandise and souvenir shop featuring the venue’s characters, Mini, Patti, Lue and Taya.
- K-Food Court: A Korean food offering for visitors wanting something to eat during their visit.
- My Cookie Lab: A cookie-making and decorating activity.
- K-pop Pop-up Store: A retail space focused on Korean pop culture.
These additional offerings help make Lumin more of a multi-purpose entertainment destination than a conventional exhibition space.
However, don’t assume everything is included in the admission price. The main ticket packages cover the four principal attractions, while food, merchandise and activities such as cookie-making are charged separately.
The venue’s website is the best place to check the latest information about individual activities and any additional costs.
Lumin Art Museum Pattaya tickets and prices
Visitors can choose between individual attraction tickets, an ART PASS covering the two art experiences, or an ALL PASS covering all four main attractions.
At the time of writing, Lumin is advertising opening-event discounts. Some examples of the current adult and child prices are:
| Ticket | Adult | Child |
|---|---|---|
| Web AR Exhibition | ฿299 | ฿199 |
| Immersive Media Art | ฿699 | ฿499 |
| Snow Experience | ฿119 | ฿119 |
| 5D Attraction | ฿179 | ฿179 |
| ART PASS | ฿779 | ฿599 |
| ALL PASS | ฿1,078 | ฿898 |
The ART PASS combines Web AR and Immersive Media Art, while the ALL PASS includes all four main attractions.
The advertised ALL PASS promotion also includes a free ฿100 RFID card top-up, subject to the applicable promotional conditions.
These are promotional prices rather than necessarily permanent admission rates. Offers and ticket conditions can change, so check the official Lumin Art Museum website for current prices before purchasing.
Tickets are exchanged for a Lumin character RFID card at the museum, which is used for entry.
Lumin Art Museum Pattaya Opening hours and location
Lumin Art Museum is scheduled to open on December 1, 2026.
The advertised regular opening hours are:
- Daily: 10am–9pm
- Last admission: 8pm
The venue is in the Jomtien area of Pattaya, close to Underwater World Pattaya.
Location: Lumin Art Museum on Google Maps
A taxi or ride-hailing service is likely to be the most straightforward way to get there, particularly if you’re staying in central Pattaya.
How long should you allow?
Lumin’s own suggested itinerary gives an indication of a four-to-five-hour visit, combining immersive art, the snow experience, cookie-making and food.
That’s a suggested itinerary rather than a confirmed average visit time, and how long you spend there will depend on which attractions you choose and how much time you spend exploring the additional facilities.
If you intend to experience all four main attractions and have something to eat, it’s probably worth allowing a good part of the day rather than treating it as a quick stop.
A different addition to Pattaya
Pattaya has no shortage of beaches, shopping centres, water parks and nightlife attractions, but Lumin Art Museum offers something a little different.
The combination of immersive digital experiences, indoor snow, 5D entertainment and Korean-themed facilities gives it a broader appeal than the name alone might suggest.
It may be particularly interesting for families, younger visitors, couples and anyone curious about immersive entertainment. The indoor setting also provides another option for days when the weather isn’t particularly suitable for outdoor activities.
Of course, the real test will come once the venue opens and visitors can see how the different experiences work in practice. For now, the information available is based on the attraction’s own pre-opening material, and some details may become clearer once it begins welcoming the public.
We’ll update this page as more information becomes available.
