    New Sina Floating Beach Club Now Open in Pattaya

    A unique new attraction has arrived in Pattaya, with the Sina Beach Club Pattaya now welcoming guests from its offshore location in the Gulf of Thailand.

    Unlike traditional beach clubs, Sina is anchored offshore and can only be reached by complimentary shuttle boat departing from Bali Hai Pier. The premium venue combines an infinity pool, daybeds, dining, cocktails, live DJs and panoramic sunset views in a setting unlike anything else currently available in Pattaya.

    Grand Opening Party on 1 August

    Although the venue is already operating, Sina Beach Club has announced its official Grand Opening Party will take place on Saturday, 1 August 2026.

    A Premium Beach Club Experience

    Sina Floating Beach Club is aimed at visitors looking for a more exclusive beach club experience.

    Guests can choose from general admission or reserve a variety of premium seating options including daybeds, lounges, cabanas and private villas. General admission includes food and beverage credit, while larger groups can reserve premium spaces overlooking the water.

    Resident DJs provide the soundtrack throughout the afternoon and into the evening, creating a relaxed beach club atmosphere as the sun sets over Pattaya Bay.

    Departure from Bali Hai Pier

    As the venue is located offshore, all guests depart via shuttle boat from Bali Hai Pier.

    Visitors are encouraged to book in advance, particularly for weekends and special events such as the Grand Opening Party.

    What it actually is

    Sina is a multi-story deck floating structure covering roughly 1,270 square metres, built around an infinity pool variously advertised as 22, 24, or 25 metres long. It stays permanently anchored off Bali Hai Pier: there’s no cruising involved, despite the “boat club” framing in some listings. Guests check in at the pier and take a short shuttle boat out, typically a 10 to 15 minute transfer.

    The daily session runs from around 2:00pm to 9:30pm (a handful of resellers list slightly different hours, so it’s worth confirming at time of booking), split into two distinct moods: a relaxed, family-friendly pool afternoon, giving way to a livelier, DJ-led sunset and evening scene. After 6:00pm, entry is restricted to guests 20 and over. Dress code shifts accordingly – swimwear by day, “resort smart” after dark, with no flip-flops permitted on the upper deck in the evening.

    The venue is operated by SINA Beach Club Pattaya Co., Ltd., a company registered with Thailand’s Department of Business Development on 10 June 2024 with 5 million baht in registered capital, licensed as a tourist boat and tour operator business. That’s the correct legal category for a floating venue of this kind, and it puts a real timeframe on the project: from company registration to opening day was almost exactly two years.

    The venue’s own “about” copy describes it as “envisioned and built by its CEO over six years in Thailand, starting in 2016” — plausible as a personal timeline for the person behind it, but worth reading as founder narrative rather than a claim about the age of the business itself, which is considerably younger. Notably, no individual is named anywhere in the venue’s marketing or public filings we could find — the founder is always “our CEO,” never identified.

    What it costs

    This is where Sina separates itself from most of Pattaya’s beachfront scene. Basic entry passes start from around 1,800 baht, and that buys admission plus pool access — not a reserved seat. Tables and cabanas are quoted individually and come bundled with a food and beverage credit rather than a fixed cover charge; one advertised package lists a 24,000 baht table with a matching 24,000 baht F&B credit attached. Full-venue buyouts, for up to 300 guests, are pitched at corporates and private event planners rather than walk-in tourists.

    For comparison, a beachfront bar stool or a plastic chair on Jomtien or Pattaya Beach costs next to nothing beyond the price of a drink. Sina’s day-pass floor price alone is what a lot of visitors might otherwise spend on an entire day out, before food, drinks, or a boat transfer are added on top. This isn’t a venue built to compete with the soi bars, it’s aimed squarely at a different visitor: someone who wants a Bali- or Ibiza-style beach club experience and is willing to pay resort prices for it.

    A signal, not just a venue

    It’s worth being careful about reading too much into a single new opening — Pattaya has seen ambitious venues come and go before, and it’s genuinely too early to know how Sina will perform once the novelty period fades and it has to survive a full monsoon season on the water. But the positioning is hard to ignore.

    Sina arrives alongside a broader run of higher-end openings and international-style events targeting Pattaya in the past year or two, and it fits a pattern that’s been building for a while: Pattaya’s operators increasingly courting the same affluent, design-conscious, Instagram-driven crowd that Phuket and Bali beach clubs have built entire economies around, rather than leaning solely on the city’s long-standing reputation as a budget nightlife destination.

    Whether that shift sticks – or whether Sina ends up as a striking but short-lived experiment – is genuinely an open question. What’s clear is that someone backing this project believes there’s a market in Pattaya willing to pay Phuket-level prices for a Phuket-style day out, and that’s a bet worth watching regardless of how it plays out.

    That said, House of Benedict isn’t trying to be a traditional tourist attraction. If you’re looking for rollercoasters, historical exhibits or a fast-paced sightseeing experience, it may not be for you. The appeal lies in wandering at your own pace, soaking up the atmosphere and enjoying one of Pattaya’s most imaginative and photogenic spaces.

    A Great Rainy Day Option

    Because almost all of the attraction is indoors or under cover, House of Benedict is also one of Pattaya’s better rainy day activities.

    Whether the weather isn’t cooperating or you’re simply looking for a break from the beach, it’s an easy place to spend a relaxed couple of hours.

    Easy to Combine with Other Attractions

    House of Benedict is located just south of Pattaya and is only around one kilometre from Winter Wonderland Pattaya, making it easy to visit both attractions on the same outing if you’re exploring this part of the city.

    Pattaya has no shortage of well-known attractions, but few are as unexpected as House of Benedict.

    It’s imaginative, beautifully designed and refreshingly different from the city’s more familiar sights.
