LOMA RUN On The Beach returns to Jomtien Beach on Sunday, September 20, 2026, with 5K and 10K races starting and finishing around Dong Tan Square.
Now in its 12th year, the charity event is organised in cooperation with Pattaya City and the HHN Foundation for Thai Children, with proceeds going towards educational scholarships for underprivileged children.
Around 2,500 runners and 500 accompanying people are expected to take part.

The event gets underway early, with preparations beginning from around 4:30 AM and activities scheduled to finish by 10:00 AM.
5K Route
The 5K starts on the road in front of Dong Tan Square before heading along:
Jomtien Soi 1 → Thappraya Road → Phra Tamnak Road → Phra Tamnak Soi 6 → Yin Yom Beach → Dong Tan Beach
The route then continues along the beach to the finish.
10K Route
The 10K follows a longer route through Jomtien and Pratumnak before reaching the beach:
Jomtien Soi 1 → Jomtien Soi 2 → Thappraya Road → Phra Tamnak Road → Phra Tamnak Soi 6 → Dong Tan Beach
Runners will use designated lanes along sections of the route, with traffic management in place at intersections.
LOMA EXPO & Race Kit Collection
Runners can collect their BIB and race shirt at the LOMA EXPO on Saturday, September 19, the day before the race.

The expo will also feature sponsor activities and sports/running equipment exhibitors.
Important: Race-day registration is not available. Runners can check their participant details and BIB number online before attending.
If you’re unable to collect your race kit personally, the organisers allow another person to collect it on your behalf, subject to their stated requirements. Parking is available at the hotel.
Road Closures & Traffic
The event will affect traffic around Jomtien, Pratumnak and Dong Tan Beach during the early morning.
Traffic restrictions around the start and finish area on Soi Hat Dong Tan are scheduled from approximately 4:00 AM to 10:00 AM.
Some roads will have lane restrictions rather than being completely closed, with officials stationed at key intersections to manage traffic.
If you’re travelling through Jomtien or Pratumnak early on Sunday morning, allow extra time and expect some temporary diversions.
A Charity Run
LOMA RUN On The Beach is not just a sporting event. All proceeds remaining after event expenses will go towards scholarships for underprivileged children through the HHN Foundation for Thai Children.
With thousands of runners and supporters expected, it is also one of Pattaya’s larger community sporting events.
