    Pattaya has used the beach for Halloween concerts in previous years, alongside parades and costume competitions. More recent celebrations have tended to focus on Walking Street and the city’s nightlife areas. The earlier beach concerts make a return to the beachfront plausible, but the exact location of this year’s mini concert has not been clearly confirmed.

    A daytime film event, too

    Pattaya’s Halloween programme also includes a daytime event at Cape Dara Resort on 31 October, focusing on Thai horror films, filmmaking and sound production. Workshops and discussions with Thai film directors form part of a programme exploring Thai cinema and Pattaya’s ambitions as a creative film destination. This is more of an industry and cultural event than a conventional Halloween attraction.

    The Four Nightmares at Terminal 21 Pattaya

    Terminal 21 Pattaya has turned to Thai ghost stories for its Halloween attraction, The Four Nightmares. The haunted house brings together legends from four regions of Thailand, offering a different kind of Halloween experience from the city’s nightlife parties.

    Admission is ฿50 per person, or free with a qualifying shopping receipt of ฿1,000 from the mall, subject to the stated conditions.

    There’s also a special event on Halloween night, 31 October, at 8 pm, when Phi Wi and Phi Wat from Tales After Midnight will present a live ghost-storytelling session.

    Free Halloween Make-Up at Ripley’s

    Ripley’s Believe It or Not! Pattaya is offering free basic ghost make-up on Saturday, 31 October, with a paid Full Ghost Makeup option for anyone wanting a more elaborate look.

    The activity takes place at Ripley’s on the second floor of Royal Garden Plaza. The price of the full make-up service hasn’t been announced in the information available, so check with the venue if you’re interested.

    Halloween parties and events around Pattaya

    The city festival is only one part of the picture. Several venues are promoting more elaborate events for Halloween weekend, from a floating beach club to live rock and a haunted castle.

    Haunted Horizons at SINA Beach Club

    Friday 30 and Saturday 31 October

    SINA Beach Club is taking its floating venue in a spooky direction with Haunted Horizons, promoted with the tagline “Where the dead awaken at sea.”

    Guests can choose a Day Pass or a Bed Seat ticket for a more premium experience aboard the multi-deck floating beach club. It’s a distinctive alternative to a conventional Halloween party, with the venue located offshore and accessed by shuttle boat from Bali Hai Pier.

    WET Masquerade at LAY Beach Club

    The programme also brings together a broad range of Thai performers and musical styles, making the festival relevant to a wider audience than traditional jazz fans alone.

    What is the Pattaya International Jazz Festival?

    The Pattaya International Jazz Festival has become a regular feature of the city’s major events calendar, combining live music with a beachfront setting.

    The 2024 edition featured Irish singer Ronan Keating as its headline international artist, alongside Thai and international performers. In 2025, American vocal group All-4-One and British jazz-funk band Shakatak were among the featured acts.

    The festival has therefore attracted a varied selection of international performers over recent years, from smooth jazz and pop to R&B and jazz-funk. Kenny G’s return in 2026 continues that tradition.

    Previous editions have also combined the performances with the wider atmosphere around Pattaya Beach, making the event an opportunity to enjoy live music by the sea without paying for a concert ticket.

    Rock Factory Pattaya Marks Seven Years of Live Rock

    Rock Factory Pattaya celebrates its 7th anniversary on Sunday, October 4, with a special night that brings the band from its opening back to Soi Buakhao.

    Reload-X will return for the anniversary party, with all of the original members of the band that played on Rock Factory’s opening night seven years ago. For regulars, it’s a chance to see the musicians who helped establish the venue’s sound back where it all began.

    But Rock Factory’s history is a little more interesting than that of the average Pattaya bar.

    The venue was created with a genuine rock-club background. Wolfgang “Hasche” Hagemann, a former drummer with German metal band Running Wild, had spent more than three decades involved with the Rockfabrik in Ludwigsburg, Germany, including its booking. When the idea of opening a dedicated rock venue in Pattaya came together in 2019, he brought that experience with him to Thailand.

    Reload-X also has a story of its own. Hagemann and his business partner came across the band while on holiday in the Philippines before Rock Factory opened. They were impressed enough to bring the group to Pattaya, where it became the venue’s house band. By 2022, Hagemann said the band had around 250 rock and metal covers in its repertoire, ranging from familiar classics to heavier material from bands such as Helloween, Accept, Dream Theater and Queensrÿche.

    The timing of the opening proved particularly challenging. Rock Factory had only been operating for around five months when the COVID-19 shutdown brought Pattaya’s nightlife to a standstill in March 2020.

    Seven years on, the venue remains a fixture on Soi Buakhao, with live rock and metal performed nightly. It has also developed a following well beyond the original German rock connection, becoming one of Pattaya’s more recognisable destinations for visitors and residents looking specifically for live rock music.

    For the 7th anniversary, bringing Reload-X back is a fitting way to celebrate. RF Band will also be playing, and the venue is teasing a “big announcement” – what could it be?

    If you’ve never watched a Muay Thai fight in Thailand, this Saturday offers an easy opportunity to give it a try — and it won’t cost you anything.

    MAX Muay Thai and Central Pattaya are hosting the opening stage of the MAX 4 MAN Central tournament on Saturday, September 19, with free entry.

    The event takes place in the Sunken Beachfront Area at Central Pattaya, the outdoor area in front of the mall. It’s right in the centre of Pattaya, so you can easily drop in without having to make a special trip to one of the city’s dedicated Muay Thai stadiums.

    And you don’t need to be a serious fight fan to enjoy it. Muay Thai is exciting to watch live, with the atmosphere, crowd and pace of the fights making it an interesting experience even if combat sports aren’t normally your thing.

    With free entry and a central location, this is a particularly easy way to experience Muay Thai while you’re in Pattaya.

    What’s happening?

    The main attraction is the MAX 4 MAN tournament, with the headline tournament bouts taking place in the 54kg division.

    There’s also a 67kg co-main event featuring:

    The programme includes five additional Thai and international bouts, making for a full evening of Muay Thai rather than just the headline fights.

    You don’t really need to know the fighters or follow the tournament closely to enjoy the event. If you’re curious about Muay Thai, you can simply turn up, find a spot and watch the action.

    Saturday’s event is Stage 1 of the MAX 4 MAN Central tournament.

    The four stages are being held at Central shopping venues:

    • September 19: Central Pattaya – Stage 1
    • September 26: Central Si Racha – Stage 2
    • November 7: Central Ayutthaya – Stage 3
    • November 21: Central Marina Outlet – Stage 4

    So this isn’t a one-off event. The September 19 event in Pattaya kicks off a four-stage tournament, with the final stage returning to the Pattaya area at Central Marina Outlet in November.

    Pattaya International Fireworks Festival 2026: What We Know So Far

    The Pattaya International Fireworks Festival is expected to return in 2026, with November 27–28 currently listed as the dates for this year’s event.

    Thailand’s official government website has published information stating that the Pattaya International Fireworks Festival 2026 will happen on November 27–28, 2026, with the main event taking place along Pattaya Beach.

    However, as of September 2026, Pattaya City has not yet published its own detailed announcement or programme for this year’s festival. So while the event and dates now have solid government-level backing, some details remain to be confirmed.

    Here’s what we know so far — and what we don’t.

    When is the Pattaya Fireworks Festival 2026?

    November 27–28, 2026

    The festival is expected to take place over two nights, Friday November 27 and Saturday November 28, along Pattaya Beach.

    The dates are now being widely published, including by Thailand’s national government information portal and a growing number of Pattaya hotels and tourism businesses.

    The Thai government listing is significant because it moves the 2026 dates beyond the level of hotels simply announcing their own fireworks packages. However, we are still waiting for a detailed announcement from Pattaya City itself.

    Status: Dates published by the Thai government, but local Pattaya programme not yet announced.

    Is the 2026 festival confirmed?

    This is where a little caution is worthwhile.

    Thailand’s official government website states that the Pattaya International Fireworks Festival will return on November 27–28, 2026. That is considerably stronger evidence than the hotel and travel websites that began publishing the dates earlier this year.

    At the same time, we have not yet found a corresponding 2026 announcement from Pattaya City or PR Pattaya setting out the festival programme.

    That doesn’t mean the event is in doubt. It simply means there is a difference between having the event identified at national government level and having the full event formally announced by the local authority responsible for Pattaya.

    For now, we’d describe the festival as strongly expected to take place on November 27–28, rather than treating every detail as final.

    We’ll update this page when Pattaya City releases its official programme.

    Where will the fireworks be held?

    The main event is expected to be centred on Pattaya Beach, as in previous years.

    Thailand’s 2026 government information identifies Pattaya Beach as the location, while previous editions have used the beachfront as the main viewing area.

    The exact arrangement for 2026 — including the location of firing points, stages, viewing areas and any changes to the event footprint — has not yet been announced.

    What can we expect at the 2026 festival?

    This is where it is important to distinguish what is known about 2026 from what has happened in previous years.

    The Pattaya International Fireworks Festival is normally much more than a few fireworks displays. Previous editions have included international pyrotechnic teams, music and stage performances, food stalls and other entertainment along the beach.

    For example, the 2024 festival was officially listed by the Tourism Authority of Thailand as a two-night event on November 29–30, with fireworks and other entertainment along Pattaya Beach.

    The 2025 festival also followed the established two-night format, although its presentation was substantially influenced by the circumstances at the time, with cultural performances, an orchestra and a specially themed fireworks programme alongside the international displays.

    So it is reasonable to expect some combination of the following in 2026:

    • International fireworks displays
    • Music and stage entertainment
    • Food and drink stalls
    • Large crowds along Pattaya Beach
    • Road and traffic restrictions around the central beachfront
    • Other entertainment or cultural performances

    But none of those should currently be regarded as a confirmed 2026 programme unless Pattaya City announces them.

    How does the Pattaya Fireworks Festival normally work?

    The festival has traditionally been held over two evenings, with different fireworks displays scheduled throughout the night rather than one continuous show.

    The 2025 festival, for example, had several separate fireworks displays on each evening, accompanied by stage performances and other entertainment.

    Previous years have also featured fireworks teams from different countries, with the displays generally choreographed to music.

    That gives visitors a reasonable idea of what the 2026 event may look like, but the participating countries, display times and programme for 2026 have not yet been announced.

    Will Pattaya Beach be crowded?

    Almost certainly.

    The fireworks festival is one of Pattaya’s biggest annual public events, and the central beach becomes extremely busy on both nights.

    If the 2026 event follows the usual format, visitors should expect large crowds around Pattaya Beach and significant traffic disruption in the central Pattaya area.

    Some hotels are already promoting fireworks-viewing packages for November 27–28, which is another indication that businesses are expecting the event to proceed. However, hotel promotions should not be taken as confirmation of the official programme.

    If you’re planning to attend, don’t wait until the last minute to arrange accommodation, particularly if you want to stay close to the beach.

    Will there be road closures?

    Very likely, but the 2026 traffic plan has not yet been announced.

    Pattaya has traditionally introduced road closures and traffic restrictions around the beachfront during the fireworks festival because of the huge number of visitors.

    The exact roads, closure times and parking arrangements can change from year to year, so we would not recommend relying on previous years’ traffic plans when making arrangements for 2026.

    Is the Pattaya Fireworks Festival free?

    The main fireworks displays on Pattaya Beach have traditionally been free public events.

    Visitors do not normally need a ticket to stand on the beach or watch the fireworks from public areas.

    Hotels, restaurants, rooftops and other businesses may offer paid packages or reserved viewing areas, but these are separate from the public festival itself.

    For 2026, the government information currently describes free viewing areas, although details of any VIP or commercial viewing arrangements have yet to be announced.

    Why are we being cautious about the 2026 dates?

    The simple answer is that events in Pattaya can change.

    The November 27–28 dates now have considerably more substance behind them than they did when they first began appearing on hotel websites. The Thai government’s official website has published the dates, and the event is clearly being planned for the 2026 tourism calendar.

    However, we have not yet seen the full announcement from Pattaya City.

    That distinction matters.

    Rather than simply repeating the dates because several hotels are selling fireworks packages, we’re treating November 27–28 as the current planned dates, while waiting for Pattaya City’s detailed confirmation.

    This page will be updated as more official information becomes available.

    But we are still waiting for Pattaya City to release the detailed 2026 programme. Until that happens, some of the details that have appeared in descriptions of previous festivals should be treated as likely or possible rather than confirmed for this year.

    LOMA RUN On The Beach 2026 – Pattaya 5K & 10K

    LOMA RUN On The Beach returns to Jomtien Beach on Sunday, September 20, 2026, with 5K and 10K races starting and finishing around Dong Tan Square.

    Now in its 12th year, the charity event is organised in cooperation with Pattaya City and the HHN Foundation for Thai Children, with proceeds going towards educational scholarships for underprivileged children.

    Around 2,500 runners and 500 accompanying people are expected to take part.

    Runners will use designated lanes along sections of the route, with traffic management in place at intersections.

    Runners can collect their BIB and race shirt at the LOMA EXPO on Saturday, September 19, the day before the race.

    Road Closures & Traffic

    The event will affect traffic around Jomtien, Pratumnak and Dong Tan Beach during the early morning.

    Traffic restrictions around the start and finish area on Soi Hat Dong Tan are scheduled from approximately 4:00 AM to 10:00 AM.

    Some roads will have lane restrictions rather than being completely closed, with officials stationed at key intersections to manage traffic.

    If you’re travelling through Jomtien or Pratumnak early on Sunday morning, allow extra time and expect some temporary diversions.

    A Charity Run

    LOMA RUN On The Beach is not just a sporting event. All proceeds remaining after event expenses will go towards scholarships for underprivileged children through the HHN Foundation for Thai Children.

    With thousands of runners and supporters expected, it is also one of Pattaya’s larger community sporting events.

    Where is Wonder One Music Festival?

    Wonder One takes place at One Chichan (Wan Chichan) at Khao Chi Chan, in the Pattaya area.

    The venue sits beside the famous Khao Chi Chan Buddha Mountain, with a large lake and surrounding hills providing the backdrop.

    One Chichan is considerably more than a temporary festival field. The site was developed as a dedicated outdoor events destination covering more than 160 rai, with a scalable capacity of approximately 2,500 to 30,000 people.

    Infrastructure includes more than 200 toilets, parking for more than 4,000 vehicles and multiple access routes.

    The location is approximately 30 minutes from central Pattaya by road, making it accessible for both local residents and visitors staying in the city.

    What was Wonder One like in 2026?

    The first Wonder One Music Festival was held at One Chichan on February 14–15, 2026, making the 2027 event a return for the festival after its inaugural Valentine’s weekend edition.

    The first festival featured 16 major Thai artists across two days, with a lineup that included Jeff Satur, PALMY, Violette Wautier, ATLAS, PARADOX, URBOYTJ, Toh Saksit, Two Popetorn, B5, NONT TANONT, The TOYS, POTATO, Season Five, Slot Machine, Joey Phuwasit and F.HERO.

    The music was predominantly Thai pop, rock and T-Pop rather than the international electronic-music focus associated with some of Thailand’s larger festivals.

    The 2027 lineup continues that distinctly Thai focus, although the format has changed from two days in 2026 to one day in 2027.

    The One Chichan experience

    One of the most distinctive things about Wonder One is the venue itself.

    The 2026 festival was promoted around the combination of music, nature and lifestyle, with the stage and festival grounds set against the lake and Khao Chi Chan.

    Rather than being a conventional city concert venue, One Chichan has open grass areas, terraces and views across the surrounding landscape. Images and attendee posts from the first Wonder One showed a mixture of concert crowds, couples, groups and families enjoying the site during the daytime before the atmosphere became more like a conventional music festival after dark.

    The venue’s infrastructure was also a major part of the first festival’s appeal. One Chichan was specifically designed to address some of the problems associated with large outdoor events, including traffic management, parking, security and toilet capacity.

    That infrastructure is likely to remain an important part of the Wonder One experience in 2027.

    Is Pattaya becoming a festival destination?

    Wonder One is particularly interesting because it arrives at a time when the wider Pattaya area is attracting an increasingly diverse range of major events.

    Just six weeks before Wonder One 2027, Tomorrowland Thailand will make its full-scale Asian debut at Wisdom Valley in Pattaya from December 11–13, 2026. The festival is bringing the internationally renowned electronic-music brand to Thailand with a huge international lineup and a multi-stage production. The official Tomorrowland website says the event is already sold out.

    The two festivals could hardly be more different.

    Tomorrowland Thailand is an international electronic-music event expected to attract festivalgoers from around the world, while Wonder One focuses on major Thai pop, rock and T-Pop artists in a more relaxed lakeside environment.

    Even the venues illustrate the changing events landscape around Pattaya. Wisdom Valley is a huge festival site, while One Chichan has been deliberately developed as a dedicated festival destination, with capacity ranging from smaller events through to productions for around 30,000 people.

    This suggests that Pattaya and the surrounding Chonburi region could be developing into an increasingly important destination for large-scale music and entertainment events — adding another dimension to the area’s established tourism appeal.

    One Chichan: a festival destination

    The development of One Chichan is arguably as interesting as Wonder One itself.

    The project, associated with Ichitan founder Tan Passakornnatee, covers more than 160 rai and has been positioned as a purpose-built festival and events destination capable of hosting both national and international productions.

    The venue’s design incorporates extensive parking, access infrastructure, security facilities and more than 200 toilets, while its lakeside setting and Khao Chi Chan backdrop give it something that many large urban festival sites cannot offer.

    The longer-term vision goes beyond music festivals, with the wider One Chichan development intended to become a broader leisure and events destination.

    That makes Wonder One worth watching even if you’re not particularly interested in the lineup: the festival is part of the emergence of a new major events venue in the Pattaya area.

    Also billed as the International Tattoo Amazing Fest Pattaya 2026, the third edition of the event will take place on Friday, October 2 and Saturday, October 3, 2026.

    The festival combines tattoo competitions and showcases with international artists, judges, exhibitors and entertainment, making it an event for serious tattoo enthusiasts as well as anyone simply interested in tattoo art and culture.

    Pattaya Tattoo Festival 2026: What to expect

    Competition rules

    The organisers have published specific rules for the 2026 Best categories.

    Entries must be original work created by the participating artist. Copying another tattoo artist’s work, artwork, designs or images from the internet is prohibited.

    Reference images can be used for inspiration, but the finished tattoo must be a newly created design reflecting the artist’s own creativity and style.

    An entry found to have been copied can be disqualified.

    The festival has also published general event rules covering matters including smoking, weapons and alcohol use by committee members and judges while on duty. Visitors under 18 are required to have a guardian or advisor present according to the published rules.

    Buakaw Banchamek will return to the ring in Pattaya on October 3, 2026, when he faces China’s Meng Gao Feng in the headline fight of Max Fight x Red Fist Strike at Max Stadium Pattaya.

    The highly anticipated fight is a rematch of their April meeting in Kuala Lumpur, when Buakaw defeated Meng by unanimous decision.

    The Pattaya event was officially announced at a press conference on August 25, attended by Pattaya Mayor Poramet Ngampichet, representatives of Max Muay Thai, the event promoter, police and other local officials. The event is being promoted as part of Pattaya’s wider push to establish itself as a Sports City and attract more sports tourism.

    Buakaw vs Meng Gao Feng

    The main event will see Thai combat sports star Buakaw Banchamek face Chinese fighter Meng Gao Feng for a second time.

    Their first meeting took place on April 24, 2026, at T Fight All Stars in Kuala Lumpur. Buakaw won the three-round contest by unanimous decision.

    The October fight is therefore being promoted as a rematch, with Meng getting the opportunity to try to avenge his previous defeat.

    Speaking at the Pattaya press conference, Buakaw said he was giving Meng the opportunity to come back and try to correct the mistakes he made in their first meeting. He also suggested that the Chinese fighter will have prepared carefully after seeing what went wrong in the previous fight.

    With Buakaw one of Thailand’s best-known combat sports stars and Meng already having shared the ring with him once, the rematch provides a strong headline for the Pattaya event.

    Max Stadium Pattaya is located on Sukhumvit Road in Pattaya, in the Bang Lamung district of Chonburi.

    Pattaya’s Sports City push

    The event is also part of Pattaya’s broader effort to promote itself as a sports and sports-tourism destination.

    Pattaya Mayor Poramet Ngampichet has linked the event to the city’s Sports City and Sport Tourism strategy, with international sporting events being used to attract visitors, support tourism and generate economic activity.

    The Thailand-China fight card also provides an opportunity to promote sporting and cultural links between the two countries. Local officials and event organisers have expressed hopes that the fight will attract both Thai and international combat sports fans to Pattaya.

    For Pattaya, the timing also makes the event part of the city’s increasingly busy calendar of international sporting and entertainment events.

    The rematch story

    Buakaw’s first fight with Meng Gaofeng took place only a few months before the Pattaya rematch.

    On April 24, Buakaw defeated Meng by unanimous decision after three rounds at T Fight All Stars in Kuala Lumpur.

    Meng now gets another opportunity against the much more experienced Thai fighter, this time in Pattaya.

    That makes the October 3 fight more than simply another Buakaw appearance: it is a genuine rematch between two fighters who have already experienced each other’s styles in the ring.

    Cycle Hub Friendship Ride Chonburi 2026

    Cyclists can join a weekend of riding and social activities at the Cycle Hub Friendship Ride Chonburi 2026, taking place on 19–20 September 2026 in the Pattaya and Chonburi area.

    Organised by Cycle Hub, the event combines a relaxed 40-kilometre warm-up ride on Saturday with an 80-kilometre Friendship Ride on Sunday, with routes taking riders through the scenic roads of Chonburi and the Eastern Seaboard.

    Saturday: Warm-Up Ride & Get-Together

    The weekend begins on Saturday, 19 September, with a 40-kilometre easy warm-up ride departing at 3:00 PM.

    Later that evening, cyclists can meet up at Cycle Hub for a social gathering, providing an opportunity to meet fellow riders ahead of Sunday’s main event.

    Sunday: 80km Friendship Ride

    The main ride takes place on Sunday, 20 September.

    Registration and check-in are scheduled for 6:00–6:30 AM, with the 80-kilometre Friendship Ride departing at 6:30 AM. The ride includes one coffee stop along the route.

    The event is intended as a community-focused ride rather than a competitive race, making it an opportunity for cyclists to enjoy a longer ride while meeting other members of the local cycling community.
