Pattaya is hosting a major national extreme sports event this weekend, as Thailand Extreme Fest 2026 takes place from April 24 to 26 across multiple locations in the city.

The event brings together hundreds of athletes from across Thailand to compete in skateboarding, BMX, wakeboarding, and other high-energy disciplines. Thailand Extreme Fest is a national-level competition organised in partnership with the Thailand Extreme Sports Association, aimed at developing local athletes and promoting extreme sports across the country.

Around 300 to 400 competitors are expected to take part, competing for ranking points and potential selection pathways towards international events, including future Olympic qualification.
