Visitors and locals can look forward to a weekend of food, live entertainment and beachfront atmosphere when a new food festival comes to Pattaya Beach this August.
Scheduled to run from 7-9 August 2026, the three-day event will feature more than 140 food stalls, 10 food trucks, and daily live performances by well-known Thai artists and local musicians, according to Pattaya City officials.
Although the festival is officially being organised as part of Thailand’s Thailand Food Therapy Festival initiative, visitors can simply expect a large beachfront food market with plenty to eat, live entertainment and a lively atmosphere.
Pattaya Beach Food Festival 2026 Event Details
Dates: 7-9 August 2026
Location: Pattaya Beach
Admission: No admission fee has been announced, and the event is expected to be free to enter. Visitors would simply pay for any food or drinks they choose to purchase.
What to Expect
Organisers say the festival will bring together more than 140 carefully selected food vendors alongside 10 food trucks, showcasing a wide variety of Thai street food and specialty dishes.
Daily entertainment is also planned, with performances by both nationally known artists and local performers helping to create a festival atmosphere throughout the weekend.
While a full entertainment programme has not yet been released, additional announcements are expected closer to the event.
More Than Just Food
Behind the scenes, the Pattaya Beach Food Festival 2026 forms part of a wider government initiative designed to support Thai street food businesses and promote Pattaya as an international food and wellness tourism destination.
For most visitors, however, the appeal is much simpler: a chance to enjoy a wide selection of food, live music and a beachfront setting during one of Pattaya’s busiest weekends in August.

If you’re planning a trip to Pattaya and don’t drink alcohol, you might be wondering whether you’ll feel out of place.
“Is It a Problem If You Don’t Drink Alcohol in Pattaya?”
It’s a common question, especially from first-time visitors. Pattaya is famous for its nightlife, bars and entertainment, so it’s easy to assume that drinking alcohol is almost expected.
The good news is that, in my experience, the answer is simple:
No. Not drinking alcohol is not a problem in Pattaya.
Will Bars Serve You If You Don’t Drink Alcohol?
One of the biggest misconceptions is that bars only want customers who are drinking beer or spirits.
In reality, they want customers who are buying drinks.
Whether that’s a Singha beer, a Coke Zero, a soda water or a mocktail usually makes very little difference. In fact, bars often make a better profit margin on a soft drink than they do on a discounted happy-hour beer.
As a non-drinker myself, I’ve spent plenty of time in Pattaya’s bars and nightlife areas ordering soft drinks instead of beer. I’ve never experienced even the slightest negative reaction from bar staff. Nobody has questioned it, commented on it or made me feel uncomfortable.
The staff simply take your order, serve your drink and carry on as normal.
What About Walking Street and Other Nightlife Areas?
Even in Pattaya’s busiest nightlife districts, such as Walking Street and LK Metro, ordering a soft drink isn’t unusual.
If you were to sit at a table for several hours while slowly nursing a single drink, staff at some venues might encourage you to order another.
But that’s not because you’re drinking a soft drink.
The same thing can happen to someone who has been sitting with one beer for a long time. Prime-location venues rely on volume and customer turnover, so the expectation is simply that customers continue ordering drinks, whatever those drinks happen to be.
It’s also common for staff outside bars to hand out happy-hour flyers or invite people inside with drink specials. This is simply part of how Pattaya’s nightlife operates and happens to everyone walking past, regardless of whether they drink alcohol or not.
Are Mocktails Available?
Yes.
Many hotels, rooftop bars and cocktail bars now offer alcohol-free mocktails, and it’s becoming increasingly common to see non-alcoholic options on drink menus.
Soft drinks, fruit juices, coffee and bottled water are available almost everywhere.
Is Pattaya Only About Drinking?
Not at all.
While Pattaya certainly has a lively nightlife and a visible bar scene, that’s only one part of the city.
Many visitors spend their days relaxing on the beach, visiting Koh Larn, exploring markets, enjoying cafés, watching Muay Thai, trying local restaurants, shopping or visiting family-friendly attractions.
You can easily have an enjoyable holiday without drinking alcohol.
Will People Judge You?
In my experience, no. Not at all.
Most people simply don’t care what’s in your glass.
Whether your drink contains beer, cola or sparkling water is rarely something anyone notices, and it’s certainly not something that should stop you visiting Pattaya.
A Note If You’re Newly Sober
One thing to be aware of is that Pattaya’s main nightlife areas are very bar-focused, with staff actively promoting drink specials outside venues. It’s aimed at everyone walking past, but if you’re in early recovery you may find Walking Street, Soi 6 and LK Metro more challenging than other parts of the city. If that’s the case, you might prefer to base your evenings around Beach Road, Jomtien, Central Pattaya’s restaurants and cafes, where the atmosphere is less bar-centric than others.
FAQ – Pattaya for Non-Drinkers
Q: Can you order just a soft drink or water in a Pattaya bar? A: Yes. All bars serve Coke, Sprite, soda water, bottled water and juices. You’re a paying customer and staff treat you the same. Typical soft drink prices range from 50 to 100 Baht, though you may pay more in higher-end venues.
Q: Are mocktails easy to find in Pattaya? A: Yes, in hotels, rooftop bars and more modern cocktail bars. In smaller beer bars, your options will often be soft drinks, juice and water rather than mixed mocktails. Although with that being said, mocktails are becoming more popular in regular bars too these days.
Q: Do I have to pay a barfine or lady drink if I’m not drinking alcohol? A: No, barfines and lady drinks are entirely optional regardless of what you’re drinking. If you enjoy the company and want to buy someone a drink, you can buy them whatever they want while you have a soft drink.
Q: Is Pattaya good for a holiday if you don’t like to drink at all? A: Yes. Most visitors split time between the beach, Koh Larn, markets, malls, cafes, restaurants and so on. There’s plenty to enjoy if you don’t drink.
Want to see what the main nightlife areas are actually like?
Even if you don’t drink, it helps to know what each area is before you accidentally book a hotel next to it. We have honest, first-hand guides to each one:
If you’ve been wondering whether you need to drink alcohol to enjoy Pattaya, the answer is no.
Order whatever you’re comfortable drinking, enjoy the city’s attractions, and don’t feel pressured to fit someone else’s idea of what a Pattaya holiday should look like.
For most bars and restaurants, the important thing isn’t whether you’re drinking alcohol—it’s simply that you’re a paying customer enjoying your time there.
King of Fight Sand Fury brings a Muay Thai boxing ring to Central Pattaya Beach on Saturday 25 July 2026. Organisers say admission is free throughout the event.
The event combines 12 Muay Thai bouts, cultural performances, Thai food and a purpose-built boxing ring on Pattaya Beach. Organisers have also announced a live broadcast on Channel 11 NBT. Here’s everything we know so far.
The basics
Event: King of Fight: Sand Fury by Pattaya
Date: Saturday 25 July 2026
Time: From 5.00pm
Location:Location: Pattaya Beach, Chonburi (by Central Pattaya Road – see map below)
Entry: Organisers say admission is free throughout the event
Organisers: Pattaya City, in conjunction with the Chonburi Provincial Sports Association and a sport and recreation promotion club
This isn’t an independent promoter’s event. A preparation meeting was held at Pattaya City Hall on 12 June 2026, led by Witsitsak Wongworachat, Director of the Tourism Development Division, with various city departments and related organisations involved in the planning. The event is being positioned by the city as a way to promote Muay Thai as a cultural heritage asset and a tourism draw, under Thailand’s ongoing “soft power” strategy.
Why this Muay Thai event is different
While Pattaya hosts Muay Thai every week at indoor venues such as Max Muay Thai Stadium, King of Fight Sand Fury is designed as a public beachfront event. With a ring built directly on the sand and free admission, it’s intended as both a “King of Muay Thai” spectacle and a tourism showcase, bringing professional fighters, cultural performances and local food together in a unique setting.
The venue: a ring built on the sand
At the heart of the event is the Sand Fury Arena — a boxing ring built directly on Pattaya Beach, complete with LED screens, spectator stands, and dedicated VIP, media and athlete areas. According to planning documents and the latest published event layout, the site includes a registration area, food and activity zone, merchandise booths, VIP/VVIP seating and the Beach Arena itself.
Registration and security check
An activity and cultural market zone, featuring Thai food, Muay Thai-related products and souvenirs
The Sand Fury Arena itself, where the fights take place
The layout is deliberately designed so visitors pass through the market zone before reaching the arena, encouraging foot traffic towards local vendors before entering the main event area.
Organisers have also said measures covering security, emergency medical care, hygiene and environmental protection will be in place, although detailed plans have not yet been published.
What’s on King of Fight Sand Fury
The programme, as listed on the event’s promotional material, includes:
12 Muay Thai bouts, featuring Thai fighters alongside opponents from more than ten countries. Named Thai fighters include Sudsakorn Sor Klinmee, Saiyok Pumphanmuang and Chalamdam Sor Khon Satun.
Organisers have now released the full fight card, headlined by Sudsakorn Sor Klinmee vs Diogo Brasileiro (Brazil) and Saiyok Pumphanmuang vs Raven Hunt (England). The remaining ten bouts feature a mix of Thai and international fighters across a range of weight divisions.
A Mae Mai Muay Thai performance — a demonstration of traditional Muay Thai techniques and ceremony by what organisers describe as world-class athletes.
A Pencak Silat performance by world champions, presented as a martial arts showcase rather than a competitive bout.
A four-region Thai food festival, featuring dishes from the North, East, West and South of Thailand.
Organisers have also announced that the event will be broadcast live on Channel 11 NBT.
One of the headline attractions is former WBC Muaythai and WKN welterweight world champion Sudsakorn Sor Klinmee, who remains active on the Thai fight circuit. His inclusion suggests organisers are aiming for a genuinely competitive event rather than simply staging an exhibition for tourists.
That said, the event has not yet published sanctioning details, weight classes or round formats for the 12 bouts, so it’s not yet possible to confirm whether the contests will follow standard professional rules or use a shortened festival format. The Mae Mai Muay Thai and Pencak Silat segments, by contrast, are clearly billed as performances rather than competitive fights.
Same weekend, unrelated event: Tyson Fury in Pattaya
Visitors interested in combat sports may also want to know that Tyson Fury faces Mariusz Wach at Max Muay Thai Stadium on Friday 24 July 2026, the evening before King of Fight: Sand Fury.
The Tyson Fury event is organised by Queensberry and Goldstar Promotions and has no connection with Sand Fury beyond taking place in Pattaya on the same weekend.
Together, the two events make the weekend of 24-25 July an unusually busy one for combat sports fans visiting Pattaya.
When most people think of Pattaya, they picture beaches, island trips, nightlife and Walking Street. House of Benedict couldn’t be more different.
Hidden just south of the city, this imaginative attraction feels like stepping into a dreamlike world of themed rooms, artistic décor and beautifully designed spaces. One moment you’re wandering through lush greenery and elegant courtyards, the next you’re surrounded by whimsical installations, vintage-inspired furniture or even suspended carousel horses that look as though they’ve come straight from a fairytale.
It’s unlike anywhere else in Pattaya.
What is House of Benedict?
That’s actually one of the hardest questions to answer.
House of Benedict isn’t a traditional tourist attraction, museum or art gallery, and it isn’t simply a café either. Instead, it’s best described as a creative lifestyle attraction – a place designed to be explored rather than rushed through.
Visitors are free to wander between its many themed spaces, each with its own personality and atmosphere. Some areas are colourful and playful, others are calm and elegant, while a few have an almost surreal, dreamlike quality that makes you feel as though you’ve stepped onto a movie set.
Scattered throughout the venue you’ll also find cafés, drink stands, bars and a casual dining area, making it easy to stop for a coffee, dessert, cold drink or meal before continuing your exploration.
A Paradise for Instagram and Social Media
It doesn’t take long to understand why House of Benedict has become one of Pattaya’s favourite places for Instagram, TikTok and social media photography.
Almost every corner offers a different backdrop. Beautiful architecture, creative lighting, lush plants, artistic displays and imaginative décor mean there’s always another photo waiting just around the corner.
Even if you’re not particularly active on social media, the attention to detail makes simply wandering through the attraction an enjoyable experience. It’s a place that rewards curiosity, encouraging visitors to slow down and discover what lies behind the next doorway or around the next corner.
More Than Just Photos
While photography is undoubtedly a big part of the appeal, House of Benedict isn’t just somewhere to take selfies.
It’s somewhere to spend an hour or two with friends or family, enjoying the atmosphere as much as the surroundings. The cafés and food outlets are reasonably priced rather than feeling like a tourist trap, and admission includes discount vouchers that can be used at many of the food, drink and dessert outlets inside.
Some visitors spend less than an hour exploring, while others happily linger over lunch or a drink after filling their camera roll with photos.
Is House of Benedict Worth Visiting?
If you enjoy creative design, unique architecture, creative spaces or discovering places that are completely different from Pattaya’s more familiar attractions, House of Benedict is probably worth adding to your itinerary.
It’s already a favourite with many Thai and regional visitors, but still flies under the radar for plenty of international tourists, making it feel like a genuine hidden gem.
That said, House of Benedict isn’t trying to be a traditional tourist attraction. If you’re looking for rollercoasters, historical exhibits or a fast-paced sightseeing experience, it may not be for you. The appeal lies in wandering at your own pace, soaking up the atmosphere and enjoying one of Pattaya’s most imaginative and photogenic spaces.
A Great Rainy Day Option
Because almost all of the attraction is indoors or under cover, House of Benedict is also one of Pattaya’s better rainy day activities.
Whether the weather isn’t cooperating or you’re simply looking for a break from the beach, it’s an easy place to spend a relaxed couple of hours.
Easy to Combine with Other Attractions
House of Benedict is located just south of Pattaya and is only around one kilometre from Winter Wonderland Pattaya, making it easy to visit both attractions on the same outing if you’re exploring this part of the city.
The Verdict
Pattaya has no shortage of well-known attractions, but few are as unexpected as House of Benedict.
It’s imaginative, beautifully designed and refreshingly different from the city’s more familiar sights. Whether you’re chasing the perfect Instagram photo, appreciate creative design or simply enjoy discovering unusual places, House of Benedict offers an experience that’s difficult to compare with anywhere else in Pattaya.
If you thought you’d already seen everything Pattaya had to offer, this may be the place that changes your mind.

Located in Na Jomtien, just a short distance from Pattaya Floating Market, the new attraction offers visitors the chance to step out of the tropical heat and into a winter environment maintained at temperatures between −5°C and −10°C.
Officially opening to the public in early July 2026, WinterWonderland Pattaya (also referred to as Winter Wonderland Pattaya on its Facebook page) combines snow play, winter-themed attractions and interactive experiences designed for visitors of all ages.
What to Expect
Rather than a traditional theme park, WinterWonderland Pattaya is an indoor snow attraction featuring several themed activity zones under one roof.
Visitors can enjoy:
Snow play in a sub-zero environment
Ice Slider racing lanes
Ice Drift Trikes
Bubble Bumper Balls
Immersive 360° projection mapping with winter-themed displays
A dedicated children’s snow play area
Japanese-themed photo opportunities with optional kimono rental
A souvenir shop and café area
The attraction is designed for families, couples and groups of friends, with activities ranging from gentle snow play through to more active experiences.
A Winter Experience in Tropical Thailand
One of WinterWonderland Pattaya’s biggest attractions is simply the opportunity to experience freezing temperatures in one of Thailand’s warmest destinations.
Visitors enter a temperature-controlled environment kept between −5°C and −10°C, creating conditions suitable for snow-based activities throughout the year.
Winter boots, insulated outerwear and lockers are included with admission, allowing guests to comfortably enjoy the cold environment without bringing their own winter clothing.
Family-Friendly Attraction
WinterWonderland Pattaya adds another indoor attraction to Pattaya’s growing range of family-focused experiences.
The dedicated Kid Zone offers supervised snow play designed for younger visitors, while other attractions appeal to older children, teenagers and adults alike.
Its indoor setting also makes it an appealing option during rainy weather or for anyone looking to escape Pattaya’s tropical heat for something completely different.
Our Verdict
A snow park might not be the first thing visitors expect to find in one of Thailand’s best-known beach destinations, but WinterWonderland Pattaya offers something genuinely different.
Whether you’re visiting with children, looking for an unusual date idea or simply curious to experience sub-zero temperatures in tropical Thailand, this new attraction is one of the most distinctive additions to Pattaya’s tourism scene in 2026.
As the attraction settles into regular operation, we’ll continue updating this guide with ticket information, visitor tips, photos and frequently asked questions.

Legend Kingdom Pattaya is the name being widely linked to the large construction site on Pattaya Tai Road, next to Duck Square Plaza. While many details remain unconfirmed, evidence suggests the project is a major entertainment development backed by Songcheng Holding.
A large construction site on Pattaya Tai (South Pattaya) Road has sparked plenty of curiosity in recent months. Located next to Duck Square Plaza and opposite Big C South Pattaya, many locals and visitors have been asking the same question:
“What is being built Pattaya Tai Road?“
While many details remain unconfirmed, multiple independent sources now point to the project being Legend Kingdom (LK), a major entertainment development backed by Chinese cultural tourism company Songcheng Holding.
Although the developer has yet to make a comprehensive public announcement aimed at international visitors, enough information has emerged to begin building a clearer picture of what may become one of Pattaya’s biggest new attractions.
Current Status (August 2026)
Here’s what we know so far:
Construction is underway on Pattaya Tai Road.
The project has been widely identified as Legend Kingdom (LK).
Songcheng Holding has acknowledged a Thailand entertainment project on its official website.
Recruitment has begun for performers, hosts, dancers, DJs and other entertainment staff through the project’s official social media channels.
Songcheng Group’s English website lists Thailand Legend Performing Arts Kingdom among its international developments. The company describes the project as a performing arts destination with multiple themed performance zones, including the ‘Legend Show’, ‘V Show’ and ‘Water Show’
An official public opening date has not yet been widely confirmed.
As with any large-scale development, plans and timelines could change.
Where Is Legend Kingdom Being Built?
The development is located on Pattaya Tai Road, beside Duck Square Plaza and directly opposite Big C South Pattaya.
The site has been under active construction, and Google Maps listings now identify the location as Songcheng Holding Thailand, matching the location promoted through the project’s own social media channels.
Its central location means it would be easily accessible from Central Pattaya and Jomtien.
Who Is Behind the Project?
The project is reportedly being developed by Songcheng Holding (Songcheng Group), one of China’s largest cultural tourism and live entertainment companies.
Unlike Disneyland-style parks, Songcheng’s model in China is theatre-based. Their flagship parks, such as Hangzhou, use 2,000-4,000 seat theatres running several shows a day and draw 10m+ visitors a year.
Songcheng’s own website includes Thailand Legend Performing Arts Kingdom among its international developments, describing plans for multiple themed performance venues and entertainment experiences.
What Is Planned?
At this stage, the full scope of Legend Kingdom has not been officially announced.
However, reports suggest the development could include:
Large-scale live performance theatres
Cultural entertainment experiences
Themed attractions
Dining and retail areas
Landscaped public spaces
Some promotional material describes an investment of around THB 10 billion, although Ultimate Pattaya has not independently verified the final investment figure.
Likewise, promotional concept artwork circulating online should be viewed as artist impressions, not necessarily the final appearance of the completed project.
When Will It Open?
This remains one of the biggest unanswered questions.
Some reports have suggested the project is targeting an opening in late 2026, while recruitment activity indicates preparations are progressing beyond the construction phase.
However, no widely published official opening date has yet been announced.
We’ll update this page as more information becomes available.
Recruitment and Auditions
The project has begun recruiting operational entertainment staff via its official Facebook Page, with postings for performers, hosts, dancers, DJs and NPC/entertainment roles, rather than construction workers.
Roles are being advertised in Thai, Chinese and English. As with any high-profile Pattaya opening, be cautious of unofficial agents charging fees – all current postings point back to the Facebook Page.
What Could Legend Kingdom Include?
While a full attraction list has not been officially announced, promotional material published by the project provides some clues about the intended direction.
Concept illustrations show references to:
Pattaya Theater
Legend Floating Market
Legend Elephant Valley
Kingdom of Women
Large-scale performance venues
Themed streets and entertainment areas
As these details come from promotional artwork rather than a published masterplan, the final attraction lineup may differ.
Is Legend Kingdom Related to LK Hotels or Leng Kee?
No. Despite the initials LK, the project appears to have no connection to Pattaya’s well-known LK hotel group or the Leng Kee restaurant business.
The “LK” branding refers to Legend Kingdom.
Why We Think This Project Is Credible
Large developments are often announced years before they become reality, so a healthy degree of scepticism is always worthwhile.
However, several factors suggest Legend Kingdom is more than just a concept:
Construction is visibly underway on the site.
Songcheng Holding has publicly acknowledged its Thailand project.
Recruitment has begun for operational entertainment staff rather than construction workers.
Multiple independent reports have identified the same developer, location and project.
While there are still unanswered questions, the available evidence suggests this is a genuine project that is actively progressing.
We’ll Continue Updating This Page
As more information is released—including confirmed attractions, opening dates, ticket details and official announcements—we’ll continue updating this page.
If you’re curious about what’s being built on Pattaya Tai Road, bookmark this page and check back for future updates.

Fury’s Verified Instagram Account Comments on Broadcast Plans
While full event details have yet to be released, a reply posted from Tyson Fury’s verified Instagram account stated that the fight “will not be streamed live” and would instead appear in Season 3 of At Home with the Furys.
Ultimate Pattaya has not independently verified those broadcast arrangements, and no official livestream or television broadcast has yet been announced by the organisers.
Why is Tyson Fury Fighting in Pattaya?
At first glance, Pattaya might seem an unusual choice of venue for a former heavyweight world champion. However, the city has become a familiar training base for Tyson Fury in recent years.
Fury has completed multiple training camps at Pattaya’s ISS Boxing Gym as part of his preparations for major fights. His time in the city has also been featured during filming for the upcoming third season of Netflix’s At Home with the Furys.
Explaining why he wanted to stage this event in Pattaya, Fury described the city as “a very special place” and said he hoped the event would also provide an opportunity to give something back to the local community.

Drivers in Pattaya should prepare for traffic delays over the coming months as major roadworks begin on Pattaya Second Road (Pattaya Sai Song Road) from Wednesday 8 July 2026.
The resurfacing project is expected to take around three months to complete and will affect almost the entire length of one of Pattaya’s busiest roads, from the South Pattaya Road area to the Dolphin Roundabout in North Pattaya.
While the work is aimed at improving the road surface, motorists, baht bus passengers and businesses along the route can expect disruption during construction.
Work to Be Carried Out in Two Stages
To help reduce disruption, the project will be completed in two phases:
Stage 1: South Pattaya Road to the Central Festival Pattaya area
Stage 2: Central Festival Pattaya to the Dolphin Roundabout
Pattaya City says the resurfacing will be carried out in stages so traffic can continue to pass through the construction zone while work is underway.
Expect Traffic Delays and Lane Restrictions
Although no full road closures have been announced, drivers should expect lane restrictions, slower-moving traffic and delays while the roadworks are underway.
Pattaya Second Road is one of the city’s busiest routes, carrying a constant flow of cars, motorcycles, taxis and baht buses throughout the day. Congestion is likely to be most noticeable during morning and evening peak periods, as well as weekends and public holidays.
Visitors using the baht bus route along Second Road should also allow extra travel time, particularly when travelling through Central Pattaya.
Parking Restrictions During the Roadworks
Businesses and property owners along Pattaya Second Road have been asked to avoid roadside parking while construction is taking place. Keeping the roadside clear will allow work to progress more efficiently and help minimise disruption to passing traffic.
Drivers should also avoid parking in affected sections where possible and follow any temporary traffic management or parking restrictions introduced during the project.
What Drivers Should Know
If you’re driving around Pattaya between July and October, it’s worth allowing extra time for journeys that use Pattaya Second Road, especially through the central shopping and entertainment districts.
Alternative routes, including Beach Road and Third Road, may be worth considering during busy periods, although these are also likely to experience heavier traffic while the roadworks are in progress.
Pattaya City says updates will be provided as construction progresses and different sections of the road are completed. We’ll update this article if any significant changes, traffic arrangements or road closures are announced.
Soi 6 is one of Pattaya’s busiest and most recognisable nightlife streets, and while bars regularly change ownership, rebrand or undergo renovations, the past few weeks have seen an unusually busy period of activity.
Four new bars have either opened or are on the verge of opening, adding yet more choice for visitors and providing another reminder that Soi 6 continues to evolve.
Pattaya’s nightlife is frequently the subject of debate online, with opinions ranging from claims that it’s lost it’s edge to suggestions that “Pattaya is dead”. The reality is a bit more complicated, but the opening of several new venues within a short period is another reminder that Soi 6 continues to attract investment.
Here’s a quick look at the latest additions to Soi 6.
Sinner Bar
Sinner Bar is the newest arrival on Soi 6 and is expected to open imminently. Located next to Elysium, the two venues feature very similar branding and appear to be closely connected, although this has not been officially confirmed.
Elysium
Already open, Elysium is another brand-new addition to the street. While details about the venue remain limited, it occupies the neighbouring premises to Sinner Bar and shares a similar visual identity, suggesting the two bars may form part of the same project.
6’s Wild
6’s Wild has also just recently opened on Soi 6, adding another venue to the ever-changing line-up of bars along the street. It’s sandwiched between Wicked Bar and Soi 6 Bar, but at the time of writing, very little confirmed information has been released.
Valentine Bar
Valentine Bar is perhaps the most eye-catching of the recent openings, replacing a former beauty salon with an impressive new fit-out that has already attracted attention from regular visitors to Pattaya.
Although not officially confirmed, several online discussions have suggested the venue may be connected to the ownership behind Miso and Cydonia. Until this is confirmed by the operators, however, it remains speculation.
67 Bar
Another recent addition to Soi 6 is 67 Bar, which quietly opened its doors in early June next to Utopia Bar. Little confirmed information is available so far, but its arrival is another example of the constant turnover and steady stream of new venues that keeps Soi 6 evolving.
More Than Just Four New Soi 6 Bars
On their own, four new bars might not sound particularly significant. After all, Soi 6 has always been a street where venues regularly change names, owners and concepts.
What makes these recent openings interesting is that they have all appeared within a relatively short space of time.
Whether every new venue succeeds remains to be seen, but the investment involved in opening new bars on one of Pattaya’s most competitive nightlife streets suggests there is still confidence in the area.
That’s not to say every claim about Pattaya’s nightlife is right or wrong. Like any tourist destination, the city continues to change, and different businesses experience different levels of success. But if you’re walking along Soi 6 today, it’s clear that the street is far from standing still.
We’ll Keep This Soi 6 Series Updated
This is the first in what will become a regular series covering notable changes on Soi 6.
Rather than focusing only on new openings, future updates may also include major refurbishments, rebrandings, closures and other significant developments that help visitors stay up to date with one of Pattaya’s most famous nightlife streets.
If you’ve spotted a new venue or an interesting change on Soi 6 that we’ve missed, let us know and we’ll take a look for a future update.
