Candy Club has established itself as one of Tree Town's most energetic live music venues, and on busy nights it's one of the hardest places in the area to get a seat. Located on Soi Buakhao near the Tree Town entrance, it occupies a fully air-conditioned space that was previously open-fronted - a change that has made it more comfortable but hasn't dampened the atmosphere.

The music policy leans heavily Thai: Isaan music and Thai pop feature prominently alongside Western covers. That strong Thai music focus is a big part of why the venue is so popular with local crowds, particularly Thai women and nightlife workers finishing their shifts nearby. The dance floor fills up early, the bands work hard, and the energy is genuinely infectious rather than manufactured.

One thing that makes Candy Club stand out in Pattaya is the pricing. Drinks are priced very reasonable for such a busy nightlife spot, with regular drink promotions and no inflated “lady drink” system. If you buy a drink for one of the freelancers or bar girls socialising there, you are generally charged normal menu prices rather than the heavily marked-up lady drink prices common elsewhere in Pattaya nightlife. That policy alone has helped the venue build a loyal following among repeat visitors.

The club is also well known as a freelancer-friendly venue, though the atmosphere is generally more relaxed and music-focused than many Walking Street pickup venues. It's a place where people actually come to enjoy the bands and dance, rather than just sit drinking, and is one of the better options in the area.

Once the venue fills up after around 10 - 11pm, it can become extremely crowded, loud and sweaty despite the air conditioning. That packed atmosphere is either part of the appeal or a reason to visit earlier in the evening, depending on your taste. Either way, it is undeniably one of the most energetic live music bars in the Tree Town area.
