The Torien Rooftop and Bar is a sophisticated Japanese dining and rooftop destination at the Pattaya Marriott Resort & Spa in Jomtien. Opened in February 2026, the venue occupies the hotel’s 15th and 16th floors, combining a Japanese izakaya-style restaurant with an open-air rooftop skybar above.

The main restaurant on Level 15 is a proper dining experience rather than simply a rooftop bar with food. The contemporary Japanese interior incorporates traditional touches, while large windows provide views even from the enclosed dining area. The menu includes sushi, sashimi, nigiri, maki and handrolls alongside kushiyaki and more substantial dishes, including the venue’s Wagyu Katsu Sando.

Limited balcony dining is also available on Level 15, providing an intimate open-air option overlooking Jomtien Beach and the ocean. These seats are limited and can be booked separately, making them particularly suited to a more intimate evening.

Upstairs, the Level 16 rooftop is a more drinks-focused space, with a small central bar and seating around the edges of the open deck. This is where Torien really becomes a rooftop experience, with wider, more open panoramic views across Jomtien and the Gulf of Thailand. The atmosphere is sophisticated and social rather than club-like, with occasional DJ entertainment and sunset-focused promotions.

Torien describes itself as “Pattaya’s highest izakaya-style rooftop,” a claim relating specifically to its Japanese izakaya concept rather than suggesting it is Pattaya’s highest rooftop venue overall.

With its combination of Japanese dining, sunset views and an open-air skybar, Torien is a more polished evening destination than a typical rooftop drinks venue. Smart casual dress suits the setting, and reservations are available for the restaurant, balcony dining, sushi bar and rooftop bar.
