A new venue called Mirage 555 Agogo is taking shape on Walking Street, with the former Skyfall premises currently under construction ahead of its opening.
Located next to Sea Zone and fairly close to the Beach Road end of Walking Street, the venue is already displaying its new branding. The large artwork identifies the venue as Mirage 555 Agogo, while retaining Skyfall as part of the design underneath.
Recent recruitment posts for Mirage 555 have indicated an early-September opening. A post shared on August 28 gave September 4 as the grand opening date, while another recruitment post shared on September 5 gave September 5 as the opening date. Both posts were seeking staff for the new venue.
However, a September 5 update from Bangkokboy17 indicated that Mirage 555 was still under construction. He also reported that staff auditions were being held that evening, suggesting that preparations for the venue are progressing.
It is therefore not yet clear whether the advertised opening went ahead as planned. Mirage 555 does not appear to have established official social-media profiles, and no confirmed opening announcement has been found.
For now, details about the new Agogo remain limited, including its planned entertainment and operating schedule. Further information should become available as the venue moves closer to opening.
The arrival of Mirage 555 is another change to the ever-evolving nightlife scene on Walking Street, bringing a new identity to the premises formerly occupied by Skyfall.
